Merlin Phone System – Choosing Your Business Phone System

The Merlin Phone System

The Merlin phone system and many other business phone systems are configured in a variety of ways. They provide useful features and are beneficial in any growing company. Many would agree that the most advanced phone systems today are those that operate on IP or internet protocol. These are called VoIP phone systems. It is the same network in which the company’s communication devices are also connected.

As you would imagine, there are a lot of individuals and businesses that use a Merlin phone system but don’t know how to identify what type it is. The first Merlin phone systems were first introduced in the 1980′s. Since then, there have been additional systems that were added to their line of phone systems. Some of these systems include Merlin 410, Merlin 206, Merlin Plus 820D, Merlin legend, and the Merlin Magix.

The primary thing to do to identify your Merlin phone system would be to find the control number of the unit which oftentimes is located in the closet of the phone. The Merlin closets are often black, grey, beige or off white and can be seen mounted in a vertical or horizontal way.

In the early years, the Merlin phone system models 820, 410 and 206 can be found inside a grey cabinet with a black cover. Usually, upon locating the Merlin system, you will find multiple phone cords attached to it. The system identification can be found once the cover is removed from the unit. The model of the system is found on the middle part of the unit on the right side.

The business phone system has become a basic necessity because it can be a great help to every business in generating extra revenues. You no longer need to worry about any missed calls. Being informed before purchasing a Merlin phone system or any other business phone system would be advised to make a well-informed decision regarding what would be best for your business needs.
